Welcome to Bendigo Kennels home on the Web. Here at Bendigo the emphasis is on soundness. I strive to produce Australian Cattledogs that have sound movement, temperament and herding instinct. This is done by select and thought out breedings. I am committed to producing quality Australian Cattledogs.

Bendigo Kennels was founded when I bought my first showdog in the early 90's. She was a black and white Cardigan. Soon after I got my first Cattledog and never looked back.  It all started with the purchase of my foundation bitch CH Hilltops Ice Capade "ICA". In 2001 I bred my first Australian Cattledog litter. That breeding was ICA to CH Briarmoors Bugle Boy "Boomer".

Bendigo has produced quality Australian Cattledogs for show, pet, agility, obedience and herding. Bendigo Kennels has a strong health background. All stock is tested for hip dysplasia, PRCD and hearing prior to breeding. Bendigo breeds to the confirmation standard. These dogs are able to go from show ring to herding ring. Bendigo has produced National Speciality Winners and top Confirmation Winners.

We realize that the Australian Cattledog is not for everyone. These high energy, high drive dogs can and will find a way to keep busy. These dogs are only as good as you make them. I highly recommend puppy obedience for best results for you and your puppy or dog. It is my interest to make sure you have done your homework and research into this breed prior to buyer commitment.
